Websites on Religion: Sacred Texts

The Atla Websites on Religion LibGuide is a growing, selective, annotated collection of web resources for the study of religion.
We don’t exhaust the Bible even after reading it hundreds of times. Each time we read it we see it in a new light. That is the greatness of the holy scriptures. They are that way because they were created by holy prophets who experienced the truth.

― Sri Swami Satchidananda, The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, p. 81

Sacred Texts (Besides Judaeo-Christian Scriptures)

A more complete account of the Christian canon is available in the "Biblical Literature" page.

Below, sites with translations of Scripture into modern languages will be highlighted. In the future, links concerning Bible translation will be added.
